MR. P. R. CLIMIE
My. P. B. Climie, on whom the great bulk of the organising work fell iv connection with the visit of the Southern Cross to Christchurch, suffered bereave-, ment through the death of his father at Wellington, and was a passenger by thai Wahine from Lyttelton last evening. Mr. Climie's organising work is high-. ly appreciated, and widespread sympathy is felt for him in his misfortune, occurring at such an hour of strain.
