OTAGO V. WELLINGTON A Rugby League representative match between Otago and Wellington is to bo played at Newtown Park tomorrow afternoon. This will be the first occasion' on which an Otago League football team has appeared in Wellington, and it is claimed of tho visitors that they have tho'right material for a good exhibition of tho code. Wellington is fielding a strong team, and, although the players have not had the opportunity of developing combination, it is expected that they will quickly weld into shape, with the individualists lending variety to tho performance. 3 n support of tho experienced men there are young players of promise on buth sides, and their keenness to make good should give added interest to tho game. Play is to commence at 3 p.m.. The Otago team, with Mr. H. Divert* us manager, arrived from the South this morning, and leaves to-morrow night for Auckland. The thirteen for to-morrow's match have been selected as follows:—Full-back, W. Clydesdale (captain); three-quarters, L. Connelly, T. Woodhouse, S. Harbrow; five-eighths, E. M'Kewen, \V. Timlin; half-back, C. Neiper; forwards, D. Engstrom, A. Townsend, C. Kirk, T. Hunt, J. O'Connor, M. Cameron; emergencies, E. Watson and T. Hicks. Other members of the touring team are B. Eckhoff, E. Cusack, J.. Holloway, F. Wills, and G. Blazey. Townsend represented- New Zealand in the match with tho .Englishmen at Invercargill. Wellington's team has been selected as follows: —Full-back, Balks;- threequarters, Hichardson, Scorriuge, Phillips; five-eighths, Dennison, Collins; half-back, Watson; forwards, Smith, Gluik, Leslie, Lawrence, Shaman, Moonoy; emergencies, M'Eae, Holliday (backs), Green, Bowen (forwards). Mr. C. AVrack has been appointed referee.
