GOOD HAUL FOR THIEVES

CHRISTCHURCH, 10th Sept. ■ Thieves after midnight on Friday ■broke into the residence of Mr. Cyril Poulton, a dancing instructor, of Wilson's road, and stole £105, which represented a portion of tho takings at a cabaret. INVEECAKGILL, 10l.li Sopt. Burglars .entered Todd's auction rooms on Saturday night nnd broke open two safes, but got little money, the firm having banked in the afternoon. They, also entered tho premises of Herbert Graco, clothier, and obtained £50 from a safe and goods to tlic samo value. Bowdon'.s auction mart was also entered, but nothing was taken.
