The Northland Progressive Association has decided to press for the following district improvements:—(l) A. short length of footpath as a safety zone opposite the store at the Northland tunnel stop, with an adequate light at the spot; (2) the much-needed access from West road to Kaihuia street across tlio existing drainago reserve.. This would mean a direct lino of access from the upper part of Northland to the new Western Park; (3) a doublo bracket light on the post at the foot of the stops to Harbour View road, as adequate light was required beyond the present fire alarm light.
