STRANDED ON ISLAND
HUSBAND AND WIFE PICKED UP (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, 20th- July. This afternoon, Captain Norton, of the scow Moa, picked up on Hen Island Thomas Donovan and his wife, whose auxiliary fishing launch Hillary, registered as Number 105, Auckland, has beeu stranded on the rocks at the Island since Tuesday last. The woman was somewhat exhausted, but otherwise there were no illeffects to either. The Moa conveyed the couple to their home at Taurikura Bay in the Whangarei Harbour. Given calm con ditions, it is expected the launch can be refloated.
