STATEMENT; AS TO COST Australian Press Association—United Service. (Beceiyed 6th July, 1 p.m.) '. LONDON, sth July. In tho House of Commons, Mr. W. C. Bobinson (Lab.) inquired the cost of Mr. Amery's "Empire tour. ■ Mr. Amery'said that the expenditure was chargeable to a vote of £3055, and exclusive expenses as a representative of the Empire Marketing Board which were chargeable to its fund. ''I and my staff were guests of the varioua Dominions," said the Dominion Secretary, ''and I am glad to take this opportunity of expressing, my appreciation of their generous hospitality."- ; . '.
