The Indian delegates have withdrawn from the Commonwealth Labour Conference as a protest against the Labour Party's appointment of members of the Simon Commission. Mr. ■ Chamaanl, speaking at the conference, criticised Labour's treatment of India when the Labour Government was in power. Ho added that Indian Labourites opposed' Sir John Simon's mission because India was not represented on it. , They demanded an Anglo-Indian round table conference to discover the best method' of ■ immediately giving India self-government.
