GENERAL ELECTION
THE WALLACE ELECTORATE At a meeting of supporters of the United Party, held at Riverton, Mr. W. E. Taylor was unanimously selected to contest tho Wallace seat in the interests of the United Party. The meeting, it is stated, was representative of tho whole electorate. Mr. W. E. Taylor, who is in his early forties, is a sou of Mr. Thomas Taylor, who for very many years was manager of tho National Bank of New Zealand in Southland. Mr. W. E. Taylor, for over twenty years was . connected with the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd., and has 1)«wi actively associated with most of the sporting and social activities in Southland.
