PUBLISHING THE RESULT
The result of the Test match will be known early to-morrow morning,.- and when the news comes to hand it will be posted on "The Evening Post" notice boards at the main office and at vairious places throughout ,the city and suburbs. An indication of the result will also bo given from the Town Hall, where the flying of the Blue Ensign will maan. a New Zealand victory,,the South African Ensign (a co£i of arms on a red flag) a Springbok success, and both flags a drawn game. "Information" wilD also supply the result, which, it is hoped, by the Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department^ will be reoedved earlier than usual, probably by 7 0fr?.30 a.m. Humours are in circulation that the Test match in Durban is to be "broadcast, picked up by 4QG, and rebioadcasted by 2YA. In order to sare listeners disappointment, in the ev^nt of their sitting up, it is announced1, that the broadcasting authorities bawe no knowledge of any such arrangement. In point of fact, it is not known if. there is a broadcasting station in Durban, and no arrangements have been made ;n the direction indicated.
