At the Leichhardt Stadium, the Now Zealander, Vince Parker (lOst 1041b), outpointed Rex Johnson (lOst 101b), of New South Wales, in an eight round contest.' Johnson swung wildly with his right, but Parker easily outboxed him, scoring well in .the infighting. A heavy right opened Johnson's eye in the third round, handicapping him for the remainder of the bout. . , Vinee Parker is a brother of Eddie Parker, and has been boxing in minor bouts in Australia.
