TRAMWAYS BAND
To-morrow oveninss at His Majesty's ahcinrc the Tramways Band will five tlic sixlli recital, commencing at 5.15. Tlio programme is a well-selected one, and should meet, with the approval nf all. Tho previous recitals have been drawingl packed huuses, awl tliis one should do tho same. Jtisa Amy Eaton, who created a fins Impression when last heard here, should please with tile song, "Spring's Awakwilng." llv. \V. W. Marshall will be heard in "The Bandolero." Mr. .1. Osborno is another line singer. He will sing "She is Far from the Land." Messrs. Uerthold and Bent wilt entertain with their quaint fiiitar duets, and will give us their item "Hilo Mnreh." Sir. T. Goodall, New Zealand champion cornet player, will give the test solo, 'Shylock." Mr. .1. Ilaydock will play the.accompaniments. The band items are well balanced, and should pleaso everyone. They comprise the following numbers:—Hymn, "Come, Ye Disconsolate": overture. "La Vvr DOr": fantasia. "Military Church Parade"; selection, "Songs o' London"; march, "The Parade March."
