What is believed to bo the largest elcetvic light is at the Cleveland (U.S.) laboratory of the General Klectric Company. It is a .TO-kilownU bulb, and when lighted give.-; (he 6(|iiivalc'iit of the combined light from iifl average homes. The bulb is 3ft high and l-'in in diameter, and is to be used in airport lighting. Company officials believe it will have a life of 1000 hours. Heretofore the largest incandescent bulbs have been of 30-kilmvalt power, and their average life is only 10' hours.
