TO-DAY'S BUSINESS
After formal business has been disposed of in the Houso of Representatives this afternoon an Imprest Supply Bill, providing for. the payment of salaries of Civil servants, will be brought down, and this will afford the fiist opportunity of the session for members to ventilate their views on current political topics. The general impression in the lo"bbics is that the sitting will bo a lato-one, as it'is taken for granted, that members of the Opposition -svill use their right to criticise the Government's administration to the fullest, ex--, tent. The Legislative Council will meet at 10 o 'clock to-morrow morning to. receive the Imprest Supply BiU from the House, and it is therefore anticipated . that . to-day's sitting will run I into the early hours of tho morning. It. is understood that the Labour Party will test the feeling of the House by moving an amendment in the course of the. debate to-day touching certain aspects of the Government's policy.
