CANADIAN DESTROYERS.
The two Canadian destroyers, for tho construction of which British firms aro Invited to tender, will bo of 1330 tons displacement, 34,000 1.h.p., and 35 knots speed. The first must bo delivered within nine months of tho signing -of the contract, and the second within 18 months. Tho vessels will be of the British "A" class, but builders may submit alternative designs. The combined cost of the two vessels is-estimated at 3,000,000 dollars. , '
