BUTTER AND CHEESE FIRM.
Messrs. A. J. Mills and Co., Ltd.,Londou, under date 28th June, advise Mr. A. Mills, Wellington; as. follows:—"Butter: 'Khe market is firm, but quiet. . Finest New Zealand butter is'quoted, at ,176s to. 178s, Danish butter 172s to .174 d landed, and steady. Cheese: This market is firm with finest New Zealand at 106s, first grade 105s; Canadian cheese, 103s to 105s, c.i.f." The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have. received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 27th June:—"New Zealand Dairy. Produce (last week's quotations in parenthesis): ■ Butter, New Zealand choicest, salted, 177s to 178s per cwt (174s to 1765); market quiet, steady. Cheese: 104s to 105s per cwt (103s to 104s). Market firm."
