CYCLIST KILLED
RUN DOWN BY LORRY (By Telegraph.—Presa Association.) NAPIEB, 28th June. Grant Allison, aged eighteen years, w"3 killed early to-night in Hastings in a collision between a bicycle he was riding, and a motor-lorry loaded with shingle, driven by Samuel Howard. The lorry was overtaking the cyclist, when the driver's vision becamo impaired by the lights of approaching cars, and Howard did not see the cyclist until the moment of impact. The wheels of the lorry appeared to have passed over Allison's body. This fatality raakes the fifth serious motor accident in or near Hastings in the last twelve days, and is the second fatal one.
