WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION The management committee o£ the.Wellington Football Association met last evening, Mr. W. Duncan presiding." There were also present: Messrs. W. B. Hicks, J. M. Ooleman, F. Mackie, H. Spolsky, G.: Goffin, E. W. Heath, A. J. Nimmb, R. G. Weir, T. Plant, W. Auld, and B. Mabin (secretary). The Petone third division team was withdrawn from the competition. An application for the return of the capitation fee was refused. The Thistle Club wrote protesting against their Chatham Cup fixture with Petone being a. championship game also. It was decided that the match, which was played.last Saturday, be a Chatham Cup game only. A Johnsonville player and a Swifts player were reported for fighting on the field. Ono player who appeared was suspended for a fortnight, aud the other was suspended till he appears before the committee. . The referee in the Hospital-Seatoun match reported two Hospital players, one for using bad language, and the other for questioning the referee's decision. The club is to be asked for an explanation by the players concerned.
