L. do Morpurgo (Italy) beat J.C. Gregory (England), C.-0, 0-1, G-2. E. Higgs (England) beat C. Stefani (Italy), 0-1, 3-0, 0-3, 5-7, 6-2. • ■> ■Tho Czeclio-Slovakian team, playing, at Prague against Holland, in the seraifinal of the lower half of the European zone of tho Davis Cup, is now leading by 2 matches to 1, tho doubles resulting in a viJi for Holland. J. C.1 van Lehncpp and H. Timmer beat Karl Kozcluh and T. Macemauer, C-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. ■ .
