KING'S THEATRE.
An attractive .programmo is presented in the change at tho King's Theatre. Tho main picture, entitled "Tho Divino Woman," shows Greta Garbo In tho leading role. It is the story of an' insignlflcant waif who rises to supremo heights in the theatrical world, and considers, through her1, success, that her will is law. TJncared for, she is sheltered by a soldier, who deserts his regiment on her account. Marianne comes Into contact with a theatrical company, and is given an opportunity to make good on the stage. She bocomes famous, but her success brings no consolation to tho soldier, who is Imprisoned for desertion. 'In the course of time the highhanded attitude of Marianne brings about her dismissal from tho stage, and it is only when sho is again reduced to poverty she realises tho value of her first attachment. There Is a good supporting programme, which includes a gazette, a -comedy, and scenes of tho landing of Kingsford Smith and his companions in the Southern Cross at Brisbane and Sydney. The King's orchestra supplies appropriate music.
