RACING CONFERENCE
♦ TO BE HELD IN-, CHRISTCHUKCH (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, 22nd June. Representatives of all racing clubs have decided to hold th 6 annual meeting of the New Zealand Racing Conference on 13th July, at Christchurch, instead of Wellington, as originally intended. The various committees of the Racing Conference will, however, meet at Wellington prior to the annual meeting of, the conference. It is understood that there was some doubt as to whether Sir George Clifford would be able to attend the conference if it word held at Wellington, consequently the racing conference representatives unanimously decided to come to Christchurch.'
