AH that is required is' to soak the skins of tho oranges or lemons in slightly salted water, for three or four days. They must then be drained aiid boiled" in clean water, until soft. ; Test with a firm straw, anil drain them well. Make a syrup by boiling two cupfuls of sugar, with one cupful of water for five minutes. Put the peel into a basin, 'and pour, the syrup over it. Let this stand for five days.
