The following officers have been elected to the Upper Hutt Bible Society,:—President, Mrs. Salisbury; vice-presidents, Mesdames Balcoinbe Brown, Whiteman, and Hazelwood; secretary, Mrs. Scholes; box secretary, Mrs. Oecjl Salisbury; collectors, Mrs. Scholes, Mrs. Clifford, and. Miss Scholes. After yesterday's meeting the president, assisted by Miss Salisbury, entertained all to afternoon tea.
