KINGAKA PURCHASED. Messrs. Clias. M'Arthur and Co., Ltd., have purchased the Diesel englned vessel Zingara, which lins been employed for the past eighteen months >>' tllc service of the (Jisborne Harbour JUoarU. The Zingara is very strongly constructed of heart of kauri, ami is 130 ft lons ami 33ft In breadth, She carries about 320 tons on a draught1 of 7ft din, and is fitted for handling heavy lifts. Two Widdop Diesel engines of 120 li.p. are installed In the vessel, and on trials these gave her a speed of a little over SVi knots. The Zinpira will tradu out of Wellington to the West Coast,
and will be employed chiefly In the carriage of timber for' .which she Is specially suitable.
