Ansell (Dunedin) presiding. . . In regard to reflectors on push bicycles it was decided to draw the attention of the police to the necessity for seeing that these are so fixed that thoy will reflect. A remit from Marlborough in regard to the prevention of road racing or re-cbrd-breaking trips was rejoctod, the meeting considering that the present regulations were ample to deal with the same. A motion was carriod that horsedrawn vehicles carrying only ono light in front should be compelled to carry a rear light. , ,It was decided to ask tho Government to promote legislation making it tin offence for a motorist under the inilueuco of liquor to drive a car. It was decided to send a letter of appreciation to tho Highways' Board oji account of tho interest the board was displaying in expediting.the work of road improvement.
