It is interesting to note tho fact that while there arc no milking machines displayed at tho National Dairy Show, considerable interest is t manifested by visitors to Palmerston North in Mr. Mclutyre's exhibition of tho popular New Ideal milker at their premises, No. 24 Rangitikoi Street. Here the dairy farmer contemplating an installation, or replacing a machiuo already in use with a better ono, can see, without lot or hindrance, every feature of tho "Ideal" both under working conditions and stationary. „ Iv regard to Mr. Mclntyre's invention, it is entirely constructed of the best materials, under the inventor's direct personal supervision, and as its name implies, it is without doubt tho ideal mechanics! milker, and the number of plants now in constant use in the North Island seems to indicate farmers' preference for this machine, and certainly there is ample grounds for such preferment.
