The Haywood Vulcanising Works are still going strong, and continue to render the best service to all motor owners. This is the only fully-equipped and up-to-date vulcanising works in the province, and it holds the proud distinction of being the pioneers in this class of trade in New Zealand. Haywood's commenced in Palmerston North in a very small way, but through good service and reasonable prices, it soon developed until to-day it has satisfied customers in almost every part of the North Island. The company stocks all the best makes of tires, tubes,-and rub-, ber goods of every description, including hot water bottles, surgical appliances, etc. There are free air pumps at your service, a Shell motor spirit bowser and Vedol oils, and accessories of all kinds.
