- Tho following forecast was issued at 0 a.m. to-day for the ensuing 24 hours:—" to-day for the ensuing 24 hours:— Winds—Moderate to strong south-westerly winds, reaching gale force at times on the west coast and in the far South, but decreasing gradually. . . • • , Barometer —Rising slowly. Seas—Moderate. In parts- of the coastal waters north of Cashpoint; elsewhere rough generally in the New Zealand area. Tides—Moderate north of Castlepoint; elsewhere good. Warning signals.for southerly gales are exhibited at Cape Marfa Van Dicmen, Farewell Spit, and the Nuggets. Weather—Cool and changeable generally, with scattered showers, more especially in western and southern districts. Wednesday, 20th June, 1928. •
