Hampshire at Southampton in the first innings 391 (Hosie 155, Mead 118), Robinson taking seven for 110, and in the- second innings lost three wickets for 70. Yorkshire, first innings, 318 (Lcyland 93, Worsley 00, Macaulay not out 54). Hampshire won on the first innings. Warwickshire, at Brighton, first innings 235 (Parsons 109), Tato taking seven for 80, and in the second innings 209 (N. Kiluer 94, Parsons 55), Arthur liillignu taking seven for 08). Sussex, first innings 170 (Bowley 90), Mayer taking five for 50, and in the second innings 200. Warwickshire won by 9S runs. Northamptonshire, at Northampton, first innings 298 (Woolley 59, Timms SS), Maedonald taking,six for 102 and R. Tyldesley four for 59. Lancashire, first innings 101, Thomas taking- seven for 44, and, following on, lost three wickets for 125 (E. Tyldesley not out SS). Northans won on the first inniu«s. Derbyshire, first innings 353 (Lee 81, Worthington 101), Jupp taking seven for SO, and in the second innings 125 (Juekson 54), Piekthall taking four for 32. Marylebone, first innings 325 (Hcarnc 110, Hendren 93), Townseud taking four for 01, and in the second innings lost three wickets for 124. Marylebone won by seven wickets. Playing for Kent against Gloucestershire at Folkstone, Ashdown made 70, Hardinge OG, and Freeman took five wickets for 28 and six for 62. For Gloucestershire, Hammond made 55 and 68, and Parker took five for 93. Kent won. Playing for Leicestershire at Leicester against Oxford University, Shipman scored 60 and 57 not out, Dawson 94, and Snary took five wickets for 49. For Oxford University, Barber scored 74, Skene 63. The match was drawn. Playing for Gentlemen against Players at tho Oval, Jardino scored 193 and Holmes 84. For Players, Gibbons scored 84. The match was abandoned because- of rain.
