A new propulsive for racing cars was recently tried out on a motor-racing , track at Berlin. The back of the rocket car is fitted with four rows of steel cylinders containing rockets, which are "fired" by the driver operating an electric fuse by pressing a pedal. The car is said to have attained 60 miles / ' an hour in five seconds.
