The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has received the following cablegram from its London house, under date Btli June:—"Frozen meat: Lamb, lOd per lb; mutton, wether and maiden ewe, light 7'/4d per lb, heavy GMsd per lb. Ewe, light 5%d per lb, heavy s'/id per lb. Markets quiet." Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated Bth June:—Frozen meat quotations (prices on a "delivered" basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.): Down lamb, 28-42, 10% d per lb; best North Island, 28-42, lOd; ordinary North Island, 2S-42, 9%d; second quality ■ lamb, 9 7-Sd; best North Island wethers, 48-61, 7%d; best North Island wethers, 04-72, 6%d: ordinary North Island wethers, 48-64, 7(1; North Island ewes, 4S-64, .5 5-Sd; North Island ewes, 64-72,-5 3-8 c l; New Zealand prime ox beef, 100-220, 4 7-Bd. As compared with last week's quotations, second quality lalmb is l-8d per lb higher, and heavy wethers %d per lb higher; others unchanged. The market is firm but quiet.
