A NEW HOSPITAL SCHEME

♦ An interesting stop •is being taken in Wellington iv the way of establishing a private hospital for the services of the community generally. Private hospital accommodation in Wellington is Baid to be inadequate to meet the needs of the city, apart from the calls from the country districts. It is proposed therefore to utilise what is regarded as a very suitable property, on the outskirts of the city, well known as The Grange, Wadestown, for this purpose. The idea is to form a company, and to equip the hospital in the most modern fashion, and to extend the accommodation from time to time as occasion may require. It is proposed to manage the hospital on business lines, and it is hoped to bo able to make the fees such ns will meet the requirements of persons of modest means, while at the same time affording every possible facility for the relief and _ cure of the sick and suffering. An. outline of the scheme is given in the advertising columns to-day.
