MUST BE DESTROYED
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post") AUCKLAND, This Day. Two mothers who would not consent to the air rifles, of three sons being confiscated by the. police appeared in tho Children's Court. The Magistrate explained that the only course open was to make orders for confiscation. One mother protested. Mr. Cnttou then attempted to explain tho law on the subject. Tho mother said: "Why keep the law secret? Where is tho law kept? Is it in a little book lrung up in the Court? How aro mothers to know, these things if you don't make them public1? Cannot you keep the rilles until the boys are 10, and then hand them back?" , Mr* Cuttcn: "No, madam. The rilles must bo destroyed."
