A heated argument regarding the imprisonment of Communist Deputies who are members of the Diet developed into a pitched battle at the Inauguration of the new Chamber. Communists demanded an immediate vote on the question of release. Herr Ponsiclc objected to the proposal, upon which a number of Communists beset him and beat him until he was unconscious. The Diet has now adjourned.
