NOTICE IS HEREBY'GIVEN that the Eastbourne Borough Council proposes at a meeting to be held on WEDNESDAY, 20th JUNE, 1928, at 7.30 p.m., in the • Council Chambers, Makaro street, Eastbourne, to make and levy, under the provisions of the ''Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,'" "The Rating Act, 1925," and all other amendments and Acts enabling it in that behalf, the following rates for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1928, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1929. GENERAL RATES. A General Rate for the purpose of the Borough under section 77 of the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1920" and all other amendments thereto of twopence farthing (2%d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value (£205,600) of all rateable property in the Borough of Eastbourne. HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD. A Hospital Rate under the provisions of "The Hospital and Charitable Aid . Act, 1925," "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," and all amendments thereto, of eleven-sixteenths of a penny (11-16 d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value (£265,000) of all rateable property in the Borough of Eastbourne. SPECIAL OVERDRAFT. A separate rate under the provisions of the "Eastbourne Borough Bank and Empowering Act, 1926," "The Rating Act, 1925," and all other Acts and Amendments enabling it in that behalf of eleven-six-teenths of a penny (11-16 d) in the £ on the Unimproved Value (£265,600) of all rateable property in the Borough of Eastbourne.
