3ZO 'met the Canterbury Headmasters' 'Association in conference recently and discussed, tho matter of equipping the Canterbury schools with wireless receiving sots, states the "Lyttclton Times." It was pointed out that in England and America wireless was 'now an important part of the educational system, and its use was rapidly becoming general. It was stated that the members of the Education Board were very favourable to tests being made, and that if the headmasters and school committees were in favour of the scheme arrangements would bo made, for expert teachers to broadcast special lessons from 3ZC's studio daily. After a general discussion a sub-committee from the Headmasters' Association was set up to confer With the directors of 3ZC and report to the next meeting of the association. In the interim the matter will bo brought before the School Committees' Association and arrangements made for test transmissions.
