Miss Anthony, 6-0, 6-2; Bouman beat Boyd, 4-0, 6-1, «-2j Bflignon beat Sleem, 6-&, 6-2, 11-9. Blekferton, 6*3, 1-2, 14, 6-2; Mme. CoUquefotie (Kdllantl) beat Bordes, 10'8>.
6-2; Brugnon beat Sleem, 6-2, 6-2, 11-5. In the final; Cochet and Bennett beat Hunter and Wills, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. Tho Australian women all had extended matches. O'Hara Wood led 5-3 against .Mrs. Hardic. His opponent, however, was too accurate, returning every ball into play. The volleys were lengthy, but O'Hara Wood was unable to stand against his qpponent's consistency in the second set, Mrs. Hardie winning after a close match.
