At the Magistrate's Court to-day Bernard lewis Blackwell and Ernest'GHid•stoiu; M'Cunn were charged (1) that on 11th May at Otaio they did break and enter the dwelling houses of William Alfred Ancell and Robert Barr with intent to commit .a crime; and (2) they did break and,injure such houses with intent to intimidate. The former was also charged with assault. The' cases were a sequel to the recent sensational .shooting affray. After hearing lengthy evidence, accused were committed ifor tri.nl on all the charges. Both are admitted to bail —M'Cunn £400 and Blackivc!) £1000. They are to report daily to thu police.
