SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
Rounds of -clieers at Mrs. H: Tombs's concert to seafarers at the Sailors Friend Society oh Tuesday testified to the happiness of the guests, who were insistent on encores. Refreshments were handed round by the hostess and her helpers. The peiv formers were:—Mrs. Kelly and Messrs. H. Tombs, Trevor Fisher, Simpson, Jones, and M'Donald. Mr. Trevor Fisher was at tho piano. "K<:ep Out! Dangerous!" was tho title of Mr. J. Moore's address on temperance. The prizes for the competitions came from the hoistess, and went to the Rimutaka, Storm, and Tongariro. The missioner asks for gifts for the King's Birthday picnic.. . -
