Tha sequel was> heard in the Magistrate's Court to.»day, when seven motorists ' werp charged with driving at speeds which, takijig into- account the circumstances, were or. might be deemed daugerous. After hearing evidence, tho Magistrate (Mr. Young) said he rjid wot think that the defendants had been given a chance in that the cases had not been heard until two months after tho hap- j; .poning. He did not think' that the., trap as described was reliable, and. there should havo been stop watches. Costs £1 Is wore allowed against tho county in each case where tb.e de- . fondant was represented by counsel.
