DELAY IN BEGISTRATION . A meeting of creditors in the estate of Herbert Kilmister, plumber, Lower Hutt, was to. have been held at the office of the Official Assignee (Mr. S. Tansley) to-day, but was adjourned to enable creditors at Otaki to attend if they desired. . Mr.' A. M. Dunkley appeared for the bankrupt. The amount owing to unsecured creditors was set down*at £340 18s 3d; stock in trade, estimated at £50; book debts estimated to produce £60; Ford, car, £25; total assets; £135; deficiency, £205. In his sworn statement, Kilmister said that he started in Otaki four years ago as a plumber, after having passed all necessary examinations. Everything went all right until 1922, when ho was informed that he would have to register under the Plumbers Registration Act. He then mentioned the delays and misunderstandings in connection with his registration. During the dolay in getting registration ho left Otaki and started business at Upper Hutt and subsequently at Lower Hutt. He said he had done his best to "got ahead of things," but owing to his alleged unjust treatment and delay in connection with registration, and owing to family expenses, he-was forced to file. Ho had now secured registration. ■ The Official Assignee said that the papers in connection with the estate had conic in late; as all the creditors except one were resident in Otaki' it was necessary that they should b» given an opportunity of attendingHha meeting.
