PERSONAL MATTERS
The Prime Minister, (the Bight Hon. J. G..Coates) is expected to return from the Waikato district to-morrow morning. Tho Minister of Lands (tho Hon. A. D. M'Leod) arrived from New Plymouth last evening. The Minister of Health (the lion. j. A. Young) will return to.Wellington on Friday morning. The -Minister of Justice (the Hon. F. J. Rolleston) returned from the South to-day. The Mayor, Mr. G. A. Troup, returned to' Wellington from 'the South this morning. Mr. H. E. Napier, secretary to 'the Now Zealand Fruit-growers' Federation, leaves to-morrow for Blenheim and the South. ' - Lieutenant-Colonel Graham Bobertson, C.8.E., N.Z.M.C., has been award-' ed the Officers' Colonial Auxiliary Forces Decoration. Mr.'_W. J. Bogers, Mayor of Wanganui, who has been attending tho Christchurch Diamond 'Jubilee celebrations, arrived from South this morning, and proceeded to Wanganui this afternoon. Passengers by the Manuka which arrived at Wellington to-day from Melbourne1 included Mr. W. J. P. Fitzgerald, representing the Fuller-Gonsalez Grand Opera Company, which opens its New Zealand season at Invercargill next month. . , . . Mr. B. Waters, late of the Agricultural Department, left Wellington today for Pahnorstpn North, whero he is taking up his position as agricultural bacteriologist at the Massey Agricultural College. ' Dr. J. B. Orr, of the'Bowett Institute, Aberdeen, an authority on the "nutritional value of pastures, arrived at Wellington from Melbourne to-day to confer with the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Scien tifie and Industrial Research. Dr. Orr leaves Wellington to-morrow evening for the North, and''will sail by the Aorangi on Tuesday for Vancouver.
