NO FIRE APPLIANCES
♦ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHUKCH, This Day. A fire at Cheviot early this morning destroyed four shops and the picture theatre. No fire-fighting plant . was available, and tho residents had simply to stand by and watch the fire burn. The shops destroyed belonged to the Farmers' Co-operative Association, Glasson (fancy goods), Cone Bros, (butchery), ana T. West (boot shop). The theatre was owned by J. Pruden.
