TEAM AT CAPETOWN
GREAT ENTHUSIASM PLAYERS FOR FIRST MATCH Special to Press Association. ■(Received 29th May, 12.30 p.m.) CAPETOWN, 28th May. The All Blacks arrived hero to-day from Durban, via Johannesburg, all members of the team .being in fine fettle. For the first match—against the combined Western Province country clnbs —the following team will represent Now Zealand: — Full-back: H. Lilburne. Three-quarters: B. Grenside, F. W. Lucas, A. C. KpbiUiard. Five-eighths: ' N. P. M'Gregor, M. F. Nicholls. Half-back: W. 0. Dalley. Wing-forward: G. Scrimshaw. Forwards: S. Hadley, J. Swain. I. Harvey. M. Brownlie, I. Finlayson. B. Stewart, W. Hazlett. Capetown's welcome to the All Blacks was likened by Cabinet Ministers to that given when' the Prince of Wales visited the Union. A tremendous crowd greeted the team at the station to-day, and along the route from Durban to Capetown crowds of enthusiasts cheered the team. An unofficial dinner was. given the New Zealand footballers during their stay of four hours at Johannesburg. A queue of 200 people waited all night to book seats for the second match at Capetown.
