In the space of an hour on Saturday night two women' had their handbags snatched from . them and a house was ransacked, £15 being stolen. The scene of the burglary ,was the home of Mrs. W. B. Lloyd, "The Croft," Walmsley road. -The house was visited and ransacked while three members of the household were at home and the house lights were on ti When the burglary was discovered the' intruders had escaped, leaving several rooms ■' in disorder. Drawers and work-baskets had been opened, and their contents scattered on the floor, and money had been taken from four ladies' handbags which had been left in the bedrooms.
