HEFT OF LIQUOR
(By Telegraph.—Prcsa Association.) CHEISTCHUECH, This Day. . At the Magistrate's Court to-day Albert Lawrence, aged 58, a labourer, was fined1 £3, in default fourteen days' imprisonment, for stealing seven bottles of ale and one bottlo of whisky, the property of Patrick Stephen Lawrence, the proprietor of thr> Club Hotel. Tho police said that the accused was an undo of tho Hccnseo, and had been in the habit of working in tho hotel. Yesterday ho was seen to got through a window into the bar and steal tho liquor. The licensee was absent.
