CHILEAN DESTROYERS.
The Chilean destroyer Orclla, which was launched in March, is a sister ship to the ■Serrano, whirii was launched on the 20th January. There arc four others still on (ho stocks. The contract for these vessels, amounting to about one and threo quarter millions sterling, was awarded to Messrs. Thornyuroft after Intenso competition among British and Continental shipbuilders, and it was not only the biggest naval contract secured -in Great Britain since the war, but the largest ever placed in England by a foreign Govsirnment for torpedo boat destroyers.
