SERIOUS INJURIES
IN CITY COLLISION A collision ' between a motorcycle and a motor-lorry outside the Central Fire Station at 7 o 'clock this' morning resulted in Ernest Scott,'whose address is given as -Maylahd, street; Sutnner, Christchurch, being taken to the Hospital by the City Ambulance, suffering from a compound fracture of the right leg, and injuries to his face, shoulders, and back. He was semi-conscious when admitted to the Hospital, and, although there was a slight improvement at midday, his condition <is still regarded as serious. ■ , *-'■'■ -
