A shocking accident occurred at an aviation fete at Orly. An airplane crashed- into a crowd of spectators, killing two and injuring several. Curiously, the- airplane had no connection with the fete.- It was a naval^ 'plane carrying out a practice flight. " Noticing the aerodrome, the" pilot decided to land, but when he shut off his engine he suddenly found that ho was too low. He was unablo to rise in time, and the machine swept into the crowd. All the injured were taken to hospital. The pilot received only a few bruises.
