STRUCK BY A BEAM
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) lIOK^TIKA, This Day. A serious accident occurred on tlio dredge Bimu on Sunday morning during repairs, a largo beam striking Frederick M'Carthy, an employee, laying open Ins forehead and showing the skull. His collarbone and light thigh were also broken. The sufferer is 'at present were progressing satisfactorily.
