CHRISTCHURCH JUBILEE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHIJKCH, This Day. The Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Christchurch began to-day, with a civic reception by the Mayor to representatives of Cabinet and tho Mayors of Auckland, Duncdbi, and Wanganui, and other prominent visitors. Special football matches were played in the afternoon. This evening there will be, a band concert and community singing' in Victoria, square. Monday will be observed as a holiday.
